Trying Too Hard
My friends and I also post things at erscobnasia.tumblr.com (but that one might have some in-jokes you might not get)
Eric Left.
Just a city dog,
Needed to go see the doc,
He took the midnight cab going ANY-WHERRRREEEEE
this is why i love the french.
Had I known this trick two years ago, I would have saved myself a 10:30pm trip to Home Depot to buy ceiling paint for my friend’s boss’s dining room.
Red wine is impossible to clean off of a white ceiling.
Sometimes the lead singer looks like Michael Ian Black. I love this video. I DON’T CARE WHAT ANYONE THINKS.
I hope that no one is judging you for loving this video. It is AMAZING. One of the earliest appearances of Joseph Gordon Levitt. My only qualms with it are that the license plates on the cars read Illinois when it was OBVIOUSLY filmed in California. Nowhere in IL has mountains like that.
Sidenote- I used to live in an apartment that was occupied from 1989-1991 by the three males in this band. When I first found out, I had a two week star trip where every time I touched a doorknob I thought “BILLY touched this doorknob!” The cover of the record Gish was (as far as I can tell) shot in the living room of that apartment.
Man, this is SO FUCKED UP! Why does the internet think I am a Dirty Projector? I haven’t googled myself in FOREVER.
Look Down - Just The Kiss Of The Hops: The Beer That Made Look Down Famous
Due to scheduling conflicts, the idea I had yesterday for a Look Down reunion show this Christmastime will not be panning out. The concept was met in general with enthusiasm by Joe Schweigert, however, so it would not be an impossibility that it might happen around Christmas 2010.
In the meantime, here is a demo from what would have been our next LP, Military Special, which ended up never being recorded due to circumstances. It’s too bad; it’s a damn good song. Pretty sure it would have been the hit single on that record.
This is probably how I’m gonna go in the end. My charred corpse clutching the even more charred remains of a homemade jucy lucy.
